Are Eddy County Jail Mugshots Published Online?
The official Eddy County Detention Center page links users to the Eddy County Zuercher Detainee Lookup. That portal is the public roster path for current Eddy County Detention Center custody. The roster includes a Mugshot column. Research inspection of the public portal found that the roster template displays an image when the record includes mugshot data, and displays a generic user icon when no image is attached to that public entry.
Sample public records inspected on June 22, 2026 had embedded mugshot image data for current detainees. That supports a careful, local answer: Eddy County jail mugshots may be visible online while the person is listed in the current roster, but the county did not publish proof of a long-term historical mugshot archive. A released, transferred, sealed, juvenile, or otherwise restricted record may need a records request instead of a roster search.
The county's own detention page also warns that charge information is not available in the new interface. That limitation is separate from photo availability.
